At Cairn Building & Restoration, we are passionate about what we do. To that end, we carefully select each member of our team to ensure the highest level of excellence with each project.
Growing up in Portland, Maine, Ben lived in a historic John Calvin Stevens home in the West End. He watched as his family spent time renovating carefully to upgrade, while retaining the historical value of the home. It was during these childhood years that Ben started falling in love with the construction process and how these craftsman took their talents and created something that will truly stand the test of time while expressing the beauty of a hand made creation.
For over twenty years, Ben has been involved in the Maine Construction Industry. Graduating Summa Cum Laude, Ben holds a B.S in Finance and Organizational Leadership. He began his carpentry career framing large homes in Cape Elizabeth. Then he joined a team that specialized in high end renovations in the Yarmouth area. Always wanting to learn, Ben has also worked on the construction of condominiums in Portland, from frame to finish as well as other significant renovations in the Portland area. For 5 years Ben worked at a high performance building firm as a carpenter, moving up the ladder to the position of Project Manager.
In 2013 Ben decided he wanted to take the leap to form his own company. Cairn Building and Renovation was born. Ben has been working with Aaron and his team ever since, growing the company and aiming to consistently exceed customer expectations
Ben has 2 boys, 13 and 18. Liam, the oldest is training to be a firefighter. Fin, the youngest is an avid sports player and student. They live in Brunswick and enjoy exploring the bay on their boat, working on projects around the house, spending time with family and hanging out with the family dog, Gabby.
Born and raised in Portland, Maine, Aaron Davis spent his youth on Long Island in Casco Bay with his large extended family. Aaron witnessed his aunts, uncles and grandparents tirelessly building, restoring, and decorating their coastal houses. Their hard-work and dedication was not lost on Aaron.
